It all started when his wife asked him to dig a pit for potatoes. He dug a pit… and then he dug a little deeper… until what was intended as an 80-centimeter pit became a 20-meter-deep cave with dozens of rooms inside. For him and his family, life now happens on two levels, one above ground and the other below. This is how it all happened...
